Easter 2011

So this year I was determined to get pictures at Easter with everyone dressed up. The week before Jaxon had been sick so he wasn't really feeling the picture idea but I got a few ok ones. I'm so sad because I realized I didn't get any of MaKenzie by herself. As soon as we got home we were getting everyone out of their dress clothes as quickly as possible!

Jaxon looked so handsome in his suit! I am so blessed with such a wonderful family!

Jaxon, Big Brother!

Jaxon is an amazing big brother already! He loves his little sister so much. He will call her "my baby" and give her a big kiss right on the top of her head. I'm so blessed with 2 wonderful kids.

MaKenzie Evelyn!

On November 15, 2010 at 9:35 pm we welcomed MaKenzie Evelyn into this world. I went in for my weekly checkup that afternoon and she sent me right over to Labor and Delivery due to my blood pressure. Everything went really great. My epidural worked which made me a very happy Momma! My wonderful friend Becca came over to take newborn pictures.

Where has time gone??

As previously stated I am the worst blogger ever. So much stuff has happened since I've actively posted and the thought of catching up is a little bit stressful! But I'm going to do it! :)

Jaxon turning ONE!!!

My precious little boy turned 1 on September 15 (yes... this post is almost 3 months late!). We had family and a few close friends over for hamburgers and cake for a small celebration. We had such a great time and Jaxon was blessed with so many great presents.
I can't believe how fast this year has flown by. My little boy is growing up too fast. I'm loving watching him change into a little boy.

John was our grill master for the day. We had so much yummy food!

GG made his cake! This is the same cake design she made for Uncle Jordan when he turned 1 year old.

Happy Birthday, Jaxon! We love you so much!

I'm the WORST....

blogger E.V.E.R. !!

Life has been so crazy the past couple of months that I haven't even thought about updating my blog. My plan over the next couple of days is to catch up on everything that has been going on. So be excited! :)

10 Months Old!

Today Jaxon turned 10 months old. I wanted to take some pictures so we decided to go to our neighborhood park. This was Jaxon's first time to play at the park and he wasn't completely sure what to think about it!

I'm not sure what he saw but we got excited!

Jaxon was holding on for dear life!

This stick was WAY more exciting than Mommy trying to take pictures. I eventually gave up trying to get him to look at me.
When we got home Jaxon got a bath because he was covered in dirt.

Then we played in the air conditioning!

I LOVE this little boy!

Momma, it's breakfast time!

I love this picture because it shows just how big Jaxon is getting. He is loosing that baby look and starting to look like a little, adorable boy! He is telling me to put the camera down and make him some breakfast! :)

9 Month Update!

Jaxon is now 9 months old! He is growing and changing like crazy. I love spending every day with him.

At Jaxon's 9 month appointment he weighed 17 pounds and 7.5 oz and is 27 1/4 inches long.

This month:

He is wearing size 3 daipers
He is wearing 6-9 month clothes
He has been rocking on his hands and knees for about a month and finally started crawling(6/18/10)!
He recently has started clapping (6/25/10) which I absolutely love!
He is eating solid foods much better. He loves finger foods where he can feed himself. He is also starting to eat more table foods.
He is constantly babbling now and has started saying DaDa
He still not sleeping through the night but we are working on it

I love my little boy so much!

Father's Day!

Wow! I'm super bad at keeping up with this thing...

Bath Time!!!

It's been too long!

Oh my goodness, it has been forever since I've updated this thing! We have been keeping crazy busy with moving into our new house and getting everything settled. I finally took some new pictures and it's crazy to see how much Jaxon is growing. He is rocking on his hands and knees now and I know any day now he will be off! Once this kid starts crawling I have a feeling he is going to be into anything and everything!

Jaxon's First Easter!

So I really feel like I dropped the ball big time on this one... I had every intention to buy Jaxon a super cute Easter outfit and take wonderful pictures but the day seriously snuck up on me! I took this picture with my phone at my grandparents house but I still think he's a cutie! All I have to say is next year I'm going all out!! :)

6 Month/7 Month Update

Jaxon is now 6 1/2 months old and I amazed at how fast time is going by and how big he is getting! I just love this little boy so much!

At Jaxon's 6 month's appointment he weighed 14 pounds 14.5 ounces and was 26 inches long.

This month:
He is wearing size 2 diapers
He is starting to wear 6 month clothing but still fits into some of his 3 month clothing
He is now sleeping on his belly
He is rolling from his belly to back and now he can roll from his back to his belly - I call him my little Rollie Pollie!
He doesn't mind tummy time at all now and will push up on his arms
He can sit up on his own for a short time
He loves smiling and laughing
He is talking more and starting to string together different syllables
His favorite book is I Love You Through and Through by Bernadette Rossetti-Shustak - we read it every night before bed
He also started solids and his favorite is sweet potatoes - just like his Momma!

This is a picture I took after we were done eating one night. He loves playing with his spoon, he's a mess! :)
